One of the many perks of being issued a SOLE Paycard is being able to shop online or on your smartphone. You can use your paycard on any website or app that accepts debit cards. Best of all? Downloading these apps to your smartphone could save you tons of time, money, and energy. Here’s how:

1. Lyft®

Getting around town has never been easier! With your SOLE Paycard you can create a Lyft account using your name, paycard number, expiration date (located in the bottom right corner of your SOLE Paycard), CVV (the three-digit number located on the back of your SOLE Paycard), and the zip code associated with your card. If you don’t remember giving SOLE your address, your employer may have given us that information, so you’ll want to use the zip code your employer has on file for you.

 2. Venmo®

You’re out to dinner with a friend and they forget their paycard… Usually this means you’re footing the bill and hoping they pay you back. Not anymore! With Venmo you can send and receive money with the click of a button. To send money, all you need is your SOLE Paycard number, expiration date, CVV, and the zip code associated with your paycard. If someone sends you money, to deposit it you’ll need your routing number and account number.

3. Spotify®

Need some tunes for the ride to work? Spotify’s got you covered. To create and pay for a Spotify account with your SOLE Paycard you’ll need to provide a valid email address, your paycard number, expiration date, and CVV. A premium subscription to Spotify costs $9.99 a month. Your paycard will be charged once a month, so make sure to take note of the first date you are charged – the money will be deducted from your card each month on that date. There is also a free version – no card information needed!

4. PayPal®

Similar to Venmo, PayPal lets you send and receive money from your friends and family! Many retailers also let you check out with PayPal when you buy things online, so you don’t need to give your card number every time you buy something – it’ll just be saved to your PayPal account. You’ll need your SOLE Paycard number, expiration date, CVV, and the zip code associated with your paycard. To deposit money to your paycard from your PayPal account, you’ll need your paycard’s routing number and account number.

Okay, so maybe Netflix can’t save you time, money, or energy but it sure can combat boredom. To sign up for a Netflix account you’ll need your SOLE Paycard number, expiration date, and CVV. You can also use PayPal to pay for your Netflix membership. Similar to Spotify, you’ll be charged on the same date each month.
