What is CIP?

We verify every cardholder’s identity to comply with federal regulations like the USA Patriot Act and keep each paycard program secure. For every employee enrolled, we use a comprehensive database to verify their identity using full name, date of birth, SSN and home address, provided by the employer. Sometimes we need additional documentation to verify a cardholder’s identity. This often happens when the cardholder has changed their name, they’re very young, or there’s a SSN data entry error. If SOLE needs more information from an employee, we will contact the employer and/or the cardholder via phone and email to request scanned copies of a government-issued ID and social security card.
